Fresh Cherries from Motormax featured an unusual lineup of diecast cars rarely seen in the premium die-cast market. These were the everyday drivers and "clunkers" of the 70's and early 80's.

This series, unfortunately, didn't last very long but featured such notable vehicles as the Ford Pinto/Mavarick/Mustang II, Chevy Vega/Chevette, Dodge Aries K, Chrysler Lebaron Town & Country, and AMC Hornet/Pacer/Gremin.

These FC's were priced somewhere between the high-end premiums and the HW/MB cheapo's and were encased in a nice plastic clamshell with a picture card of the particular vehicle.

This particular model is the 1974 AMC Gremlin(a Gremlin X was also made). The car is nicely detailed(for the price range) with real rubber tires and seperately attached fenders/bumbers.

The tires are a little too big(as they are for most Fresh Cherries vehicles) and the wheels are generic and undetailed. Overall though this is a nice representation of the Gremlin and one of the more accurate looking cars in the FC lineup.
