Wonderful intro to music of Portugal's former African colonies, August 10, 2007

I lucked into this CD for free(!), and I am so glad. It introduced me to Cesaria Evora and other fabulous artists from these countries. The beats are infectious, the music often haunting and always interesting. It's still in regular rotation in my home. I recommend it highly!
