Worth the penny,

This review is from: The 1977 Annual World's Best SF (Paperback)
You can get this one for 1 cent + p&p, but it's worth WAY more than that. Several stories are the sort to stay with you. (To be honest, one or two didn't grab me -- but with a collection you have to know not every story is going to grab every person in the same way!) Still, a great collection. And it doesn't seem "dated."

This review is from: The 1977 Annual World's Best SF (Paperback)
Donald Wollheim edited a series of books on the year's best science fiction works. This volume focuses on 1977. My favorite story is Isaac Asimov's "The Bicentennial Man." Other of my favorite authors in this work: Brian Aldiss, Lester Del Rey, Joanna Russ, James Tiptree, Jr., and Damon Knight.
I really enjoyed this series back in the day!!
