Very rare original 1982 AFC Championship Playoff Game Full ticket(s). This ticket came from San Diego Charger Season ticket holder. It is nicely framed along with the Season Ticket ID. Overall in excellent condition and measures 10"x8" with the frame.
This game would have play home at San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium in January 10, 1982. Instead, they played away at Cincinnati. The Chargers were coming in fresh off the emotional 41-38 Overtime win in Miami the week before. The temperature on the field in Cincinnati that day was 9 degrees below zero. With the wind chill factor taken into consideration, it was 59 below, the coldest weather in which an NFL game had ever been played. The Bengals won that day, 27-7, and the Chargers were denied an opportunity to reach the Super Bowl.
