Initially skeptical, I found the vending box to be in high-grade condition, and I had great luck with the cards - only 10-15 doubles in the whole box(and one was a 2nd year Roger Clemens)! It's a great way of instantly collecting a particular year by essentially opening one gigantic pack!

Most of the cards arrived in great shape, but this is NOT an "unopened" vending box. It was obvious that the boxes had been previously opened and gone through. If you just want cards and don't care what they are, this is fine. If you want what is advertised - an unopened vending box - look elsewhere.

My husband collects baseball cards, but the ones he 'specializes' in are mostly from the deadball era and are over 100 years old or close. But he has a deep attachment to the Mets (I know...so sad for him!) as the 1986 World Series was one of the first he could really follow. So when I saw this item and that it had never been opened plus the very reasonable price...I had to go for it.
Obviously most cards were duds but a few good ones and the sheer entertainment value of the 80's photos made it a worthwhile purchase.
Plus we got a Tommy Lasorda card (who my beloved Grandmother had a HUGE crush on) and now it is on the mantle by her ashes. :)

these baseball cards stated that it was an unopened vending box, well my terminology suggests that these were new ,or in good shape . when my son received them as a gift from me ,he told me to send them back immediatly ,they were picked over ,heavily used and not in good shape at all. today I went with him to a local baseball card show ,and i agree with my son now ,these cards were beat !!

I had stated earlier that the box came open contrary to was advertised. It was brought to my attention that I was mistaken. Therefore I re-wrote the review. It was a great buy, all cards came on an excellent condition. Would buy again from this seller.

Advertised as "unopened" but totally bogus. One could tell these cards had been rifled through. I had just begun to return to the hobby of my childhood, but am so disgusted that it just has become so crooked.

Uhhmm, I am not a baseball card expert, and I didn't realize that these aren't real cards. They are like cheap copies on this paper cards. Buy this for a toddler, but don't buy these for a real collector.
