I purchased the complete set of Pro One CDs several years ago to refresh my own memory of algebra and for a study aide for my middle-school-age grandchild. I found each of the CDs were perfect as a refresher (I am a college graduate)and then in providing my young student in extensive practice problems with thorough instructions and step-by-step solutions; this went well beyond the over hurried and brief lessons received in the over-populated classroom. Several years later and on an updated operating system - Windows Vista, the CDs again worked successfully as a tutorial for another grandchild.

the material covered on the Algebra II disk includes: 1 Solving Linear Equations/Inequalities in One Variable; 2 Operations on Polynomials and Factoring; 3 Graphing Linear Equations/Inequalities in Two Variables; 4 Operations on Rational Expressions; 5 Solving Systems of Linear Equations; 6 Working with Radicals and Rational Exponents; 7 Solving Quadratic Equations and Inequalities; 8 Conic Sections.

I can only say, regarding the disappointed critic that bought a CD that doesn't work, the program does work on Windows 2000 and W. Vista. I would have notified the seller of the defect and returned the CD for another one or for a full refund. I have had to do this a couple of times for defective movies and, in both incidents, the seller was very nice in rectifying the problem.

I ordered this for my husband for work. He is a 5-6 grade math teacher. He says he couldnt even get it to work. We tried to contact the copany to see if maybe it was just defective abd never got a response.
