Memory is actual Dell brand. Worked in the laptop without a hitch. Pricing was better than Dell Direct. Shipping was timely. Fit the bill!!

I picked up a lot of speed on my Dell Inspiron laptop just by adding this 1 GB memory card. It did the job and accomplished what I was trying to do; speeding up an older laptop that had slowed to a crawl.

I have a Dell Inspiron B120 computer that has been sluggish for years.

I read the reviews online and decided to buy my own memory sticks. I actually purchased 2, and the results have been wonderful.

My computer used to take 5 minutes to start, and with nothing more than adding these two sticks of memory, now my computer starts in under 1 minute.

I had never installed memory before, and the packages did not come with instructions. I tried to look up online how to change them and could not really find anything. Out of fear of breaking something else I took my computer to a local repair shop. It cost me an additional $30 to have the memory installed for me.

The repair shop told me had I purchased the memory from them, they would have installed it for free.

Long story short, if you do not know how to install the memory, call your local repair shop and tell them what you need. Keep in mind they are going to recommend a new computer, different motherboard, on and on. Computer geeks think unless you have the latest and greatest you are behind the times. The fact is some of us only need to check our email, and surf the Internet a little bit. Adding 2GB of memory will add another 2 years to your Inspiron B120!

I looked up the memory upgrade for my son's Dell laptop and found it on Amazon at a reduced price. It came in two days, was so easy to install, and made a huge difference in speed and performance.
