Novel ideas cost more than everyday ones. This one is simply too far over-priced to be reasonable. $19.95 is a perfectly good price point for sushi flash drives - and just one gigabyte capacity is far too small. Make it usable for the modern buyer and bring the price down to earth. That's where the rewards are.
