Sorry, Janice is not my real name. I forgot my sign in name so I had to use my sister's. I just got my NcStar 30mm scope.It is a nice red dot scope, I have a 98 custom. There was no problem with installing it. It fits nicely on the rail. I like it because you can either keep the flaps on and flip them up or you can take them off, I suggest that you take them off while you play so you don't loose them because they come off easily. I suggest that you keep the setting on 8 or 9 (dot brightness) but you can go either way. To turn it on you just simply turn the setting from 0 to your desired brightness. It will will take a little while to zero it but after that it is really accurate. I am very happy with it and I would recommend it to anyone with a 98 or an A5.

The red dot is a great improvement if you're looking to up your accuracy, but keep in mind that you'll be wearing goggles while using it. You will probably have to get an offset mount for your hopper to keep it out of your field of view, and you'll have to be picky with your stocks because they might hinder your ability to sight down the rail. Also, notice that this fits on Weaver rails - not dovetails. IN OTHER WORDS, IT DOES NOT FIT THE 3/4" DOVETAIL RAILS THAT YOUR 98 OR A-5 IS SPORTING OFF THE SHELF! You can get it on, but it will be sitting at a precarious angle that is just begging to fall off mid-game.

That said, the sight itself if very intuitive. The large knob on top controls how bright the dot appears in your sight (seven settings in addition to "off"), and the smaller knobs adjust the x- and y-axis position of the dot within the sight. They are adjusted using a straight screwdriver and are protected by screw-on caps that twist independently of the adjustment screws (so you don't alter the red dot's position when you unscrew them). Obviously, this makes it next to impossible to adjust on the field, but the tradeoff of a constant sight is probably worth it.

THIS SCOPE FIT PERFECTLY ON MY ARMY ALPHA BLACK. I WIDENED THE WEAVER BASE TO SECURED IT TIGHTLY TO MY HANDLE ON TOP. I DID NOT HAVE TO DRILL ANY HOLES ON MY HANDLE.

For the price, I don't think you could find a better red dot.
The only complaints I have is that at first, the red dot wouldn't stay on in certain brightness levels, but after some use it works just fine. The only other thing is it's a good dim light on level 1, it gets a little brighter at level 2, but after level 4, it stays about the same. I only use it on level 1 and 7(the highest).

Adjusting it is just fine, it positively clicks with each adjustment and the caps on the top and side screw off to reveal the adjustment dials that you turn with a flat head screwdriver.
The dial to adjust the brightness also houses the battery, it was hard to change the brightness at first, but again, after some use it turned just fine.

Great red dot sight for the price. I have it on my BB gun. Had to modify the mount a little for it to fit my rail. Comes packed well, includes sight covers, cleaning cloth, and 1 extra battery (2 batteries included)

The housing is meta and flat blackl, very sturdy feel!

I put this on a Ruger MK III Target pistol and after zeroing it in, it works quite well. I wear glasses and couldn't focus clearly on the sights and target at the same time. Now I can focus on the target and let the little red dot fall in the center of it. Very happy with it so far. It is a bit longer than advertised but it doesn't look objectionable on the gun.

Must have for any paintball sniper with a good gun precision shots with a good sight make sure to buy an offset rail so your not trying to stare through your hopper.

all of these reviews are dead on. all i can say is i love this sight!!! i would definitely buy an offset mount.

This is actually my g/f's account, but I bought this scope to put on one of my Crosman M417 Air Rifles. It DOES have true Weaver/Picatinny mounts, but will not fit Dovetail rails properly. If you do not know the difference between Weaver and Dovetail look it up.
Now for the Pro's and Cons.

Pro's:
-True Weaver/Picatinny mounts and very easy to install and lock down on this system.
-Even with the lens covers down, I had a 'pretty clear'* FOV.
-Mid weight. I feel this scope will suit my needs well and not come loose or rattle around.
-Accurate! I was grouping 4 pellets under a quarter at 25 yds with my air rifle once zeroed. I then added an inch to that so I was hitting a POI one inch high, this way I will still be under a half dollar out to 35 yds with a dead center aim. At 40 yds I will be about an inch low.

Con's:
-Very low profile. I will have to get a carry handle and rail to lift it up enough so I am comfortable. Not really a bad thing, as that will allow me to put my base AR 2 front site back on and have two ways to aim. Open and Red Dot. Just not happy with the cost of extra gear.
-*There is a blue tint with some slight orange triangle reflection to the left. I don't see this becoming a major problem.
-Shipping! It took almost two weeks to get to me. It is supposed to ship from Wayfair in Boston MA. They are only three hours from me! We are mislead. Wayfair is one of those sites where someone sits in a room in their house, takes our order, then buys it from another company who actually ships to the customer. Mine came from CA, NOT MA!

Overall:
I am not completely unhappy with my purchase. But some things need to be altered in the seller profile. We get what we pay for and this scope was around $26, so expecting it to act or react like a $200 scope is just stupid. It is what it is, a cheap scope.
I WOULD recommend this to people!!!!!!!!!!

This product works great for my M16A3 airsoft rifle. Mounts directly to Weaver rail and was dead on accurate once it was adjusted. Just ask my cat.
