The description clearly states 24AWG. I was sent a 28AWG cable. This is (obviously) directly related to the price charged for cable, especially longer cables, so it is important that they ship what they sell. Mine was sent from cmple (the default shipper at the time I bought the cable...not eforcity which is the default shipper at the time of this review).

Needed a 20+ foot HDMI cable for a closet mount of DirecTv DVR and Best Buy only had a 20 footer that was over 100$. This thing works just as good and was much cheaper. I've used this cable for years and will never buy an over priced brand cable again....

Cable appears to be of good quality. Has nice fit and functions fine. The price would be hard to beat. Have it hooked up to HD cable box and wide screen plasma. Picture is great. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable HDMI cable. I purchased two (one for future use) and am very satisfied with my purchase. (would give 5 stars but have only used a few days)
