telescoping rod
The pole is great; the reel not so great. But that is easily exchangeable and you can't beat the price.

Telescoping Rod
This telescoping rod is a little stiff for smaller fish like bluegills or other panfish. But I nice rod to travel with. Inexpensive and something you can easily toss into a travel bag. Good value for the few bucks I paid.

Small fish feel like a whale/a pike feels like a monster. Casts a long distance. Very flexible and very strong.
