These are good labels and work well in my Dymo LabelWriter 400. Buy these "generic" labels and save money instead of buying Dymo brand labels!

These labels broke my brand new Labelwriter 450 Turbo. I received my labelwriter and labels on the same day and was so happy to finally be able to cut out a lot of time on labeling orders for mailing. Based on the reviews, I thought these labels would be reliable. I was so wrong! This past month has been nothing but frustration. My labels never lined up correctly with the machine so the labels always had a very big blank space at the beginning or end of the label, yet the address would be jammed at the edge of the label or the postage portion would be partially cut off of each label. The labels constantly jammed in my machine, and the adhesive was so strong, that it was impossible to remove all of the residue from the labels. It also turns out that the hole between each label, which indicates to the labelwriter when a label stops and starts, was printed on the wrong side. This hold should be on the left side, and hole was on the right side on both of my rolls. This caused my labelmaker to never read any of my labels. Every time I would try to print a label, my machine would print 2.5 labels. I would be forced to manually rewind the roll (using the eject button was what caused the labels to roll up and jam in the machine I discovered) to the end of the printed label. However, because of the bad alignment issue with every single label, the second label would have to be trashed as their would be some printing on the label from the previous label. So I would waste 2 labels for every one label I printed. This was all because of the hole not being in the right spot between labels. I finally ordered labels from Dymo to see if that fixed the problem. The labels did print properly but I still had the problem of the labels printing 2.5 labels for each 1 label I sent to the printer. When I contacted Dymo, it was discovered that this was because of the jammed label residue. Since the residue was preventing the electronic reader from seeing the hole in the brand labels, it still was spewing out too many labels. I had to get a new labelmaker from Dymo. I received that this weekend and put in the Dymo labels and my labels are pritning exactly as they should have been for the past month. I really wish I had known the poor quality of these labels prior to purchasing. I would have saved myself a full month of frustration. I kept thinking I had gotten a faulty machine when all along the problem was caused by subpar labels. I will never again try to save a few dollars and buy offbrand labels. I will pay the extra money ad only buy Dymo labels to help ensure I don't have problems with my labels again. The one star is because I have to give them a rating and because the shipping was fast.
