Very good read!!!!, February 12, 2010
This review is from: 2 Good (Indigo) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have to admit for me, the title and book description drew me in and then the actual storyline kept in intrigued until the end, Madison was the kind of character that really impressed me with her relationship with her friends. I loved how Aidan realized he was ready for a true relationship and stuck to it even when things begin to get a little treacherous. I loved each one's family dynamics, but really would have loved a better dialogue and resolution of Aidan and his step-father. All in all a great novel and I now look for novels by Ms. Bowers just by name rather than read the excerpts!!! Enjoy!!!

Don't Let the cover fool you..., September 17, 2009
This review is from: 2 Good (Indigo) (Mass Market Paperback)
Ms. Bowers' story is about a woman like you & me: hard working, family oriented and a bit thick. Madisyn and her wonderful personality begets a Dallas Cowboy foot ball player Adian. The story is good , but the bad guy is just not that devious and dangerous, also Keisha was also very predictable. The cover of this book is misleading. The skinny girl in the red is bad girl Keisha, not the heroine!

2 Good 2 Be True...Maybe Not, September 2, 2009
This review is from: 2 Good (Indigo) (Mass Market Paperback)
2 Good is the story of Madisyn, an administrative assistant, and Aiden, a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. Madisyn and Aidan start out as friends working to get Aidan's new charity off the ground. Aidan falls for Madisyn because she is not attacted to his status or wealth and believes in being the person that she was meant to be, not who others expect for her to be. As Madisyn gets to know Aidan, she realizes that he is unlike other atheletes who enjoy the party atmosphere and the abundance of sports groupies. To Madisyn, their love affair and Aidan seems too good to be true, especially after the drama she went through with her ex. I really enjoyed this story because Madisyn and Aidan really did not have many internal relationship conflicts. The source of their drama was from others outside of their relationship. Usually in most romance novels, one of the main characters has a problem with trust or committment due to something that has happend in a previous relationship. That did not happen in this story and it was refreshing to see. Ms. Bowers did an excellent job with this story especially highlighting my favorite NFL team. GO COWBOYS!
