Good sturdy metal. Easy to put together. Looks great in the garden. Better than the picture.

Easy to assemble, with a heavy base to keep it upright. Bowl is cast aluminum which makes it lightweight. Only complaint is that bowl gets very hot in full sun, unlike concrete bowls. I don't know what effect, if any, this may have on the birds, but the water gets quite warm.

This item didn't ship in 24 hours (error in shipping department), but customer service was extremely pleasant to deal with & rectified the problem. The bird bath is beautiful; better than I'd hoped for! It is very sturdy & well put together! It looks marvelous in my yard! I'm definitely glad I waited it out!
