We bought 4 sets of these trees to put in our front yard. They are packed very well in their boxes, so you have to extend their branches, so they'll look pretty. Out of the 4 sets, 1 is not working because some of the leds on one tree are not turning on. But, the rest work fine. The cord between the trees is only about 2 feet, though.

The trees are about 8" tall with a diameter of 8" or less. I am not sure why the listing shows 8x14x8. Very disappointed. I am sending them back.

Don't waste your money on these trees. They don't light up and they are ridiculously small and cords are too short.

I can't imagion anyone being happy with this product. They are so small they appear to just be part of the grass. The solar stake looks larger in the grass than the trees.
I bought two sets and they don't light with consistency. Usually on set is does not work, but not always the same one. Makes it look even worse having one side of my walk lighted and the other not. When lighted they are very dim and there are not many lights on each tree. Combine this with very small trees close to the grass and it makes for somthing that does not resemble Christmas tres. Not at all the image shown. If it snowed they would be burried for sure. If I can find the time I will ship these back. Everyone gets a really good laugh when I tell them what I paid for them and help them to see them in the grass. Save your money for somthing you can see.

Hoaky,

Recieved this item and of course looked nothing like the picture (a few scraggly branches with a few lights) but figured it would look okay at night. Well... first of all the solar sensor is bigger that one of the trees and there is no way to hide it since there is a wopping 2' of cord between it and the tree. Once installed all the trees would do is flicker dimly at night unless I completely covered the solar sensor from the other Christams lights (which are not strung like the Griswalds or anything close). So if you are looking to cover about 4" of space 2' apart, with a big black solar pannel sticking out of the ground right next to them, and not see anything at night; don't waste your money.

Good Small Solar Tree that lights up at night,

Bought two of these small solar trees just to see if they actually work the way described. I'm glad they do. Just plant them, including the small solar panel, in the front garden. When there is some hours of sun during the day, the lights will turn on and can remain so for a few hours. If it is a rainy day, the lights would not turn on or just very briefly. There seems to be a sensor built in that turns on the lights when darkness comes. The solar panel also has a toggle underneath that needs to be switched at first use. No need to worry about that afterwards.

These trees started out being ok, but they do not stay lit! I bought 4 pair to go along my walkway. They were cute... AT FIRST! 1 pair I received with the wire not even connected and the solar panel was just flopping around. I glued it back in place but knew it would not work for long because the wire was not soldered back in place. The packing slip says returns are no problem as long as they are unopened so I could not even return them. NOT HAPPY!

I agree with the reviews. These are sooo small, much smaller than I was expecting. I bought about 8 pairs and one pair doesn't come on at all. Combined with the unexpected size, it almost feels like a waste to me.

The trees are fairly small, but the measurements are accurate, except for the cord like all the reviewers have said. They did light up quite well though, and I took off the stake and just mounted the solar panel directly on the floor.
