1.0 out of 5 stars Rip-off - Does not cover normal wear and tear, September 3, 2007

This review is from: 2-Year Replacement Plan for Electronics Products up to $24.99 (Electronics)
I had to write a review. They're clearly astroturfing their own products as the exact same text is the only review for most of their plans.

I bought a replacement plan for some headphones I bought. Short story: even though the product description says they will, they would not cover it because the damage was through normal wear and tear. They said they only extend the manufacturer's warranty and, as it only covers product defects, that's all they would cover.

1.0 out of 5 stars They do not honor their service plan, November 20, 2008
This review is from: 2-Year Replacement Plan for Electronics Products up to $24.99 (Electronics)
They sold me a service plan covering LCD TV in price range of $1000 to $1 for $149.99. When I called to get my LCD TV serviced, they said that I purchased the wrong service plan since my LCD TV costs $888 and I paid for a plan greater than $1000. They said that my plan covers TV costing $1000 to $1149.99. Then, they blame Amazon.com for selling me the wrong service plan at a higher price when in fact, Amazon.com does not sell these plans but allows the New Customer Service Companies, Inc. to use their website in order to sell them. So basically, they sold me a higher price service plan (costing me more money) and will not honor the service contract even though they may have sold it to me incorrectly in the first place.
