Doubt I would buy it again,

I purchased and item, actually the next item I will review. Less than a month later it malfunctioned. I called the service contract people and got a run around. They told me to call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and got a song and a dance. A day later I called the manufacturer again and made sure that they understood that their item didn't work. They said they would replace it, but I haven't heard aword since. According to the people I spoke with who handle the replacement contract, it doesn't kick in until after the original warrantee expires in a couple years. Basically, it isn't worth the paper it is written on.

Replacement Plan,
This Item was purchased on Sept 25, 2008 and was notified 4 days later that in 10 to 14 days I would receive confirmation, it has been over a month and I still have not received any documents or confirmation.

Terrible Unprofessional Customer Service and Misrepresentation of the Product,
By Real Shopper (Los Angeles, CA USA) - See all my reviews I bought the coverage for my lawn mower, and, as it states in the description of their services, when my mower did have a power surge, I contacted the company for a "hassle-free" refund. Little did I know, that the refund would not be only only "hassle-free", but nothing at all. I contacted them by e-mail - no resolution, no response. Then I called their customer service number: The first representative just hanged up on me. The second said that the coverage plan I bought is only covers $49, and connected me to Amazon.com, which in turn connected me back to them. The third representative said they will not cover anything because I'm still within time frame for Black & Decker original warranty (why did I pay for their replacement plan then?) And then, after 1.5 hrs of my explaining the problem and holding, the supervisor got on the phone and in a very rude tone told me that the terms and conditions (which were available upon request!) state that the coverage will only start AFTER the manufacturer's warranty expires. And now since I called one week before the fact, the unworking condition of my mower is a pre-existing condition and they is not valid for any replacement or refund from their part! She told I could do whatever I wanted, call Black & Decker or whatever, but their (NEW) company will not be covering anything. And she hang up. "100% reimbursement?" - I don't think so. "No hassles, deductibles, or waiting for repairs?" - Some "hassle-free" customer service that is! "All it takes is a quick toll-free phone call, and NEW takes care of the rest" - ??? I will definitely complain straight to Amazon - the reputable company like Amazon should not work with such companies that defraud customers like this.
