Zé Ramalho is one of the greatest singers/songwriters in Brazil. He style tends to mix regional influences from the Brazilian northeast with blues, rock and folk music (especially Bob Dylan - check out his version of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"!). This album was made in order to celebrate his 20 aniversary as a singer. He teamed with Robertinho do Recife (another great Brazilian musician) to review his most important and interesting songs in acoustic versions. It could not be better - some songs are breathtaking like "Avohai" (with indians citars!!), "Chão de Giz", "Frevo Mulher" and "Admirável Gado Novo". Great buy, do not hesitate!
