Book Description

This Kindle mini-book features exercises and workshop activities that are especially useful for people who feel threatened by change. They address the tendency we have to duck down, hoping that things will pass over, rather than grasping the opportunities that change might bring. They teach us how to recognize when we are creating boxes that limit our thinking and our attitude to change. Help participants learn how to transform change from something that happens to them (usually with grim consequences) to a force they can use positively to influence their own destiny and the future of their organizations. All the activities have been personally tried and tested by the author over many years of working with a variety of sizes and types of group. Preparation is minimal – many of these exercises require only the space to work in; others are easily prepared in advance by following the guidance given here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Value for money May 30, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have read and used the tips in three of David Williams' books and found them to be all quite valuable.

Some of the exercises in this book were not new to me (Fishbone, Nine Dots). Several others I've used and adapted to my own training and coaching sessions. I especially like the malleability of Idea Bingo and Change Pyramid; both of which I've modified to suit the needs of my specific training workshops.

Overall, I recommend this book highly. It's one of the better decisions you can make with one USD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended! December 11, 2013

Practical, simple to implement and engaging activities. All I needed to create a best Change Managing training session. When purchasing this e-book i was afraid it would not fit my needs, because I was planning a lecture for a very large group. I was very surprised to find lot of activities I could use in every group size! Very useful and straight to the point. I can see that it was written by someone who actually delivered those activities and carefully collected them to this e-book.
