Not just for doctors--but especially for some doctors,
By Hester Giddings (the New York City area) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 20 Common Problems: Ethics in Primary Care (Paperback)
^ Dr. Sugarman's book, while directed at primary-care physicians, should be interesting for anybody who cares about the American health care system. For physicians, it could be more than interesting. It should make some clinicians bend their minds to thinking about unaccustomed deep issues. And important ones. The book should function as a much-needed antidote to the poisonous notion that "I'm the doctor, so what I do is right." (Ms. Giddings is a health care researcher) |
