I ordered a set of these buckles and the buckles I received from USA Imports were a cheap imitation of the buckles in the picture. I don't believe the buckles I received were manufactured by National Molding. I believe instead I was sent the "Economy Contoured Side Release Buckles" also sold by USA Imports. I am disappointed and irritated by the delay this is causing to say the least. I have returned the buckles. I don't know if this is typical behavior for USA Imports or an accident but I will be cautious when ordering from them in the future. I will be attempting to contact USA Imports to see if I can get them to deliver the correct product and will post back based on my experience.

Update: I have spoken with National Molding and they informed me that USA Imports does not sell their buckles and that they have asked them to stop advertising them on their website.

These are good, solid buckles. I purchased them for wider paracord bracelets (four cords will go through these). Note that these buckles were designed for 5/8" strap, so one side has a double opening for the strap to have sliding friction, to tighten up like a belt. If you are making paracord bracelets and the second opening is a problem for you, look for another product.
