This is a very good collection of tracks from four Sister Hazel albums. It is a good compilation for anyone who is a fan of their brand of folksy rock that includes upbeat numbers and more mellow ballads. On this collection, the tracks come from four Sister Hazel albums, as follows:
"Lift" (2004)
-- "Firefly"
-- "All About the Love"
-- "I Will Come Through"
-- "Hold On"
"Absolutely" (2006)
-- "Mandolin Moon"
-- "Hello, It's Me"
-- "Where Do You Go"
-- "Truth Is"
-- "One Time"
-- "Everything Else Disappears"
"Bam! Volume 1" (2007)
-- "Wrong the Right Way"
-- "Sail Away"
-- "Save Myself"
-- "Mona Lisa"
-- "What Kind of Living"
-- "Grand Canyon"
-- "Work in Progress"
"Release" (2009)
-- "Ghost in the Crowd"
-- "Vacation Rain"
-- "Walls and Cannonballs"
I really appreciate that this album is available for free. I don't know if that is a decision by the group or by Amazon, so I thank all of you. This is not the first time that a Sister Hazel has been offered at a great price or free, and when group members Ken Block and Drew Copeland released solo albums, they were also offered for free or very cheaply. (I recall at least one of those albums was also free for a while, though I don't remember which one, or if perhaps it was both.) It is apparent that Sister Hazel is very generous with their music, or they have a very ingenious marketing strategy!
