Patchy but largely enjoyable, May 26, 2006

This 20 track compo misses some of the big hits but includes some absolute gems; 'Alesha' (based on the anthemic 'Greetings' rhythm)& 'Tidal Wave' are just two of the standout tracks but the quality remains generally fair to high on the rest of the tracks including the all-time favourite 'Worries in the dance'.
There are some weaker/less well known tunes on here but despite this it's still a pretty nice compilation, if not the ideal introduction to Frankie's undeniable talent and unique voice.

This cd was okay, however the first 3-4 songs are well known. The remainder of this cd was kind of bland to me. I have always loved bro Frankie's music. I loved "Worries" which was mad ill when it first came out and is still bangin' now years later. This is not commerical reggae, but 'roots and culture' seen.
