caveat emptor,

I am amazed that O'Reilly would permit the publishing of this book. Usually they are quite reputable in the "Recipes" series. Not the case here. Very disappointed in this title. A mere 110 pages long, most of it is boilerplate with no real insights on any challenging problem. Go with Sanderson's book if you really want to learn about MVC. I'm going to return this book. Terrible.

There are a few decent and practical examples in the book. However, I'm weary of taking advice from someone who advocates plain-text password retrieval. This is a highly unsafe practice that should never be implemented for any reason. Ever. Period. (we clear?)

Initially I was not too impressed by this book, however if you're moving toward ASP.Net MVC, this maybe helpful. I found the price very good!
