toys r us and best buy is the way to go, unless amazon adds the $20 like they do for madden.

so forget amazon. and whats with the $4 more for the ps3 version than the xbox version?

amazon, we dont care much for "starter guides" or "5 star player rating" somethings gotta happen, in a big way, for me to even consider buying from amazon.

toys r us has had pretty good deals, and best buy should come out with a gift card soon.

It's only 3 dollars. 2.96. But i agree. This should have at least a 10 promo credit. But it is way better than Madden, so i get it if they dont.

Ace Magill says:
I work at Best Buy, we already offer a code to access the Best Buy exclusive Five Star Quarterbacks for pre-orders. But starting late June, two weeks or so before the game comes out, we are going to have a $20 gift card in addition to this--for pre-orders only. The reason they are waiting until then is because during late June Kmart is going to offer something like they did for L.A. Noire($60 for the game + $20 off future game coupon + $20 game) but instead of the $20 game its going to be some exclusive DLC.

Anyway, if you guys want a good deal, then just wait. I've heard amazon has been stingy lately (first offering $15 off next game with LA Noire for Pre-orders, then day of release giving $20 off next game). So Best Buy will be your best bet.

But if amazon matches this then you don't have to pay for tax or shipping. I hope amazon matches this because, even though i work at Best Buy, I only get 10% off and that is pretty much just tax, but the main reason is because I rather have the NCAA Football 12 Starter Guide than the Five Star Quarterback. But then again Kmart could have a better DLC.

Keep your eyes pealed. Best Buy is starting to challenge Amazons gaming tricks.

You don't know what you are talking about, in terms of this, ACE: "I've heard amazon has been stingy lately (first offering $15 off next game with LA Noire for Pre-orders, then day of release giving $20 off next game). So Best Buy will be your best bet."

I preordered the game when it was 15, and after it shipped and they raised it to 20, I got another e-mail saying I got another 5 dollar promotion. The matched it without any action from me. Calling Amazon stingy is just inaccurate. They have always consistently had the best (or at least matched) pre-order offers, free shipping (or 99 cent release day delivery) and no tax depending on your state. You are silly not to order on Amazon.

And the great thing about Amazon is you can pre-order anything you want, they don't charge you until the game is released and shipped, and you can cancel anytime before that. So if you preorder early on, you get ALL of the promotions that they offer for the game the entire time that you have it preordered. You might not like the starter guide, but if you preorder now you get the starter guide... and if they add a credit later you get that, AS WELL, in addition to getting the lowest price they have before you are charged. So if it drops to 56 bucks then you get it for that.

Better hope ACE MAGIL isn't your real name and that Best Buy doesn't see you posting about upcoming promotions. I bet that information is not for public knowledge, eh?

Ya, Ace. I don't think they are stingy so you are off the rocker there. But what you claim about Best Buy-KMart deal does make me not want to order from Amazon. I think I am going with Best Buy, thanks for your info. But lets not act childish while giving consumers information about deals from better stores(even though i did earlier- haha sorry).

But really thanks, I think I'll be going with best buy. I still don't get why Xbox is cheaper and why Amazon just doesnt match Best Buy claims. I but this series every year and would go on a "subscribe program" - hah- if amazon hooked up $20 deals each year.

Best Buy is it.

Don't go to those links...They are legit, but it isn't a buy it now, so the price could end up going as high as the retail price itself.

And eBay will only back up a claim within 30 days I believe, so this could also be a scam. AKA - Don't "pre-order" on eBay!

Posted on Jun 16, 2011 9:55:41 AM PDT
Ace Magill says:
Nah, Sherry.
Ive been keeping an eye out. highest has been $42.

the person selling has like 9 left. you can for sure get one for 40. no doubt.

Posted on Jun 16, 2011 9:58:47 AM PDT
Shavy Shav says:
i havent seen them go higher than 42 dollars.

amazon should match the price. the seller has sold more than 10 and has 10 left.

Whtas with the 30 day ebay thing?

Posted on Jun 18, 2011 8:16:20 AM PDT
Sherry Bell says:
Amazon won't match the price to items on eBay! LoL! And I will repeat myself - It is an auction style format, so the price can easily increase.

If you never get the game, don't assume eBay will get your back if you file a claim over a month after the auction ends.

Posted on Jun 18, 2011 5:03:13 PM PDT
I'm waiting for at least $10 credit to order as well.

Amazon said they won't price match

Michael, how did you find this information out? did you email them or call them up?

Yeah, I emailed them and provided them a link to best buy and kmart regarding the deals. They said at this time they are not giving a discount. Myabe more people have to ask them about it

Amazon is apparently set on losing customers to other places. I'll take my 60 bucks elsewhere for NCAA, this year.

FYI, Best Buy doesn't have the $20 preorder offer anymore that I could find. (Or at K-Mart or Wal-Mart. I smell a conspiracy! They all agreed not to do it, perhaps?

In reply to an earlier post on Jul 5, 2011 8:15:52 AM PDT
K-mart is offering the week of release. Best Buy's is that you have to be a rewards member(which is a completely free service) I didn't hear any offers from walmart
