Note that it's only for their Gamer's Club Unlocked members ($14.99 yearly subscription). There are other good games on the list (Assassin's Creed 3 and MOH Warfighter among them) so it may be worth it if you plan on getting more
BB will put a hold on your credit card when you place your preorder. Also they are notorious for randomly cancelling people's preorders for high profile limited availability items at the last minute. Just somethings to keep in mind. Happy hunting.
@Chuck T: I'm sorry, but I don't believe the information you provided to be correct. I placed pre-orders for two different games with Best Buy recently, and neither of them has resulted in a hold on my credit card.
Its better if you preorder at the store, you can just put your 5 bucks down and wait until release day. If you preorder online it holds it for the full amount. Ive preordered from them before and had a decent experience. I preordered about 6 games at BB, you get the 20 bucks worth of points for each game you preorder and buy from them. In addition, every 250 pts you accumulate gets you a 5 dollar credit (you get 2x points for every new game you buy from them so a 60 dollar game nets you 120 pts). It really pays for itself since Amazon has been stingy with the credits lately.
Downside is the credits take anywhere from 20-30 days to appear in your account so dont expect to get the 20 dollar credit the day after you pick up your game. I decided to give this a shot since Amazon started charging sales tax and Best Buy is on my way home from work.
You forgot to mention the fact thatvyou have to have the gamers unlock to qualify for thr $20 gift. The gamers club membership is similar to gamestop $14.99 membership...same cost and u also get magazines
