200 Live Earth Worms - Improve Soil

Would rate this as 2.5 stars if possible.

Hirt's was very fast w/the delivery, which I have found them to be very fast with delivery on other items in the past.

All the worms were alive, so no complaint there.....

My complaint is "200 live Earth Worms"..... there is just NO WAY there was anything close to 200. I'll be generous and say there were 2 dozen live Earth Worms.

So, all in all, I was happy to receive the worms. Have not found any dead worms in any of the potted plants since I let them go in each pot.

But, I take strong exception to false advertising. Because of this I will not be making a repeat purchase of Earth worms through Hirt's. My local garden center carries live worms, lady bugs, etc. I was trying to save gasoline by ordering on line but this is not a good deal (not to me, at least) for the price plus S&H for the amount received.

I'm very dissapointed because there weren't any worms at all in the container when it arrived... i got a $15 cup of dirt... not one single worm or even dead ones... just dirt...

I was very thorough while looking through my Earth Worm container and it honestly was only a bucket of dirt. There was not a single worm in it. We hoped that maybe there were eggs, so we took the container of dirt and put it in a pot, but we never saw a single worm in there either. Very disappointed!

there were not "NOT 200" in the mesh bag when they arrived. Maybe 40? they were alive though and that is a good thing, but being off by 160 worms is not a good business practice. live and learn on this one.

These worms came in very good condition ,very well sealed...and ALIVE. They got big so fast and my soil and plants seem to be thriving great.

I have to ask for my money back, because the item received was not the item taht I bought.

They arrived early, and they are happily living in my worm compost bin! the seller was great as far as letting my know when they shipped etc.

THE WORMS CAME AND I PUT THEM IN MY COMPOST BUCKETS, THAT WAS 6 MONTHS AGO AND THEY ARE STILL GOING STRONG
