The recipes in the book do abide by the guidelines of food combining. However, the recipes lack creativity or imagination. They're very simple and basic. I had hoped for more "gourmet" information, uses of other fruits or veggies. What about spice usage? I'm glad I bought the used paperback version, I'd have been disappointed paying full price.
