THIS MODEL KIT IS A RE-ISSUE OF TWO KITS OFFERED IN THE 60'S,DEPICTING WHAT AN ORBITING MANNED SPACE STATION AND A MANNED SPACESHIP MIGHT LOOK LIKE IN THE FUTURE.THESE DESIGNS ARE A THROWBACK TO THE 1950'S WHEN IT WAS THOUGHT THAT SPACEFLIGHT WOULD BE AS COMMONPLACE AS A FAMILY VACATION.THE ORIGINAL ISSUES OF THESE KITS DRAW TOP DOLLAR FROM COLLECTORS ON SITES LIKE EBAY,AND THE PRICE ON THIS TWO MODEL SET IS INCREDIBLY CHEAP!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS KIT,IT IS AN EASY BUILD,AND DISPLAYS VERY WELL,A MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE INTRESTED IN SPACEFLIGHT,PAST,PRESENT,OR FUTURE.
4.0 out of 5 stars

This model kit is a wonderful look back at the visions of space travel at the dawn of the space race. The box contains two kits. One is a wheel shaped space station, and the other is a delta winged rocket ship. They both have a 1950's retro look to them. ( The kit was originally released in the 1950s. ) The kits are easy to build, but do need glue and paint. Parental supervision is recommended for younger builders. With a little patience, and some skill, you should have two very cool models to display.
