A travel resource which is practical and attractive., October 19, 1999

This is a very neat way to keep up on what is happening in the area. It has the main events written in the date and it tells you what the phone numbers are so you can follow up and get more current information. This way you can plan ahead and get a reservation for a place to stay in the area, plus you can get a jump start on buying tickets to the event. Finally someone has put this together in a format that is useful like a calendar. This will also be a neat memorabilia to hand down to future generations who want to know what people were doing in the first year of the millenium. This would be an ideal millenium gift for friends. The price is right also. I enjoy the different wacky images used for color illustrations. This is much more fun than the traditional, more boring calendars you see everywhere else. Also there is plenty of room to write things down in the date squares. I love it!

You haven't seen a calendar quite like this before. It's a wall-size calendar, nice graphics, plenty of room to write in your own appointments, etc.
What's new about this calendar is that it notes hundreds of California festivals and events. Some of the events are famous; some are quirky and fun. Anyway, instead of first learning about these events in the Sunday paper (when all the hotels are already booked), now it's possibile to plan ahead.
So see you at the Mendocino Music Festival or the World Championchip Pillow Fights (?!). I understand a Southern California version is also available.
