A must video for victory and a testimony for everyone. As everyone knows, Lance has proven his critics wrong in every aspect of his life. Cancer survivor, 1999 winner, and now 2000 winner. A must have for Lance & US cycling fans. Relates to the comeback kid and de-ja-vu of Greg Lemond's courageous comeback.

Video comentary by Phil & Paul are very insightful for pure cycling fans. Coverage and tactics are well done. The video camera brings you in sooooo close that you feel that you are there when Lance rips away from you and you feel that there is nothing you can do except be in awe. They describe a lot of the behind the scene activity that goes on while the riders are performing. Coverage of the key stages for the overall is well done.. especially the climb to Hautacam and the mountains. They describe the hard work and setup that the team must do in order to prepare their leader for the final portions of the stage. You could correlate this to the other 4 men or 3 quarters of a Bulls game that sets the final seconds for Michael Jordan to make the winning fade-away shot at the buzzer.

Even though the lesser flat stages do not hold much drama for the overall standings, commentary brings insight on the tactics that the overall leaders must use in order to assure that their overall standings are not affected. Also, for several viewers that are interested in one-day events, these show tactics that would be very beneficial to win that sprint or break-away.

For any cycling fan, this WCP video goes into a depth that serious cycling fans will really appreciate. Although, the amount of in-depth may be a bit confusing for non-riders/races. It could be viewed in some forms as a strategy video.

For the most part, it is a great video for cyclist and non-cyclist. The coverage of roads and towns is fantastic. My father is not a cyclist, but he can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the French Alps and roads that the tour goes through. For come-back stories, Lance and the tour win in all aspects.

As others have said, more interviews or personal portraits, or history of the race would have been nice. Since it is only 2hours, more coverage would have been nice..can you say buy the 8 hour set. Others claim the commentary is "it's on occasion slow, superfial and incomplete".. For riders that know a race, it is never slow, there is always something going on to prepare for the grande finally. True that cycling is not fast paced and electric as Formula1 or Basketball, then again Baseball is about the same pace but we love it still.

Plus the action that Lance, Marco, & Jan bring are true vindications that Lance is the best and this video will be a great piece to relax and enjoy for all.
