Dynamite may come in small packages, but so does some of the most glorious and emotive music you can imagine. What a surpise to have so much great music tidily packaged in this little box!
Initially, I was not too impressed with Vini's work over the past decade, yet after buying this box set and revisiting the albums, I was amazed at just how solid his body of work was through the decade. Each album is a winner. The packaging is nice too, and extra tracks are stuck on accompanying albums (not on their own disc!).
To those not familiar with the Durutti Column, this is a great starting point, unarguably getting on on some of their best work. For those of us already into them, this is a great keepsake...and just another excuse to get excited about some records we already had heard.
Worth every penny, especially because it will enlighten anyone who gets their hands on this.
