About the Author
In informal, community workshops, LIWG members guide and encourage each other to develop stylistically. Each workshop offers writers the opportunity to learn literary strategies and techniques, to dabble with inventive writing exercises, to present their works in progress and receive constructive critiquing, and most importantly, to have fun.
Member writers include local columnists, book authors, New York City playwrights, historical, nonfiction authors, poets, Fulbright scholars, and people who love to play with words. For more information about individual authors, please read their respective bios.
The Long Island Writers' Guild has published two previous anthologies: Waterwalking and Gifts from Our Circle, available at our workshops.
