Lots of general information, but short on specifics,

Beginning anglers will find a wealth of information on just about any species of fresh or saltwater fish and the techniques and equipment to catch them. However, experienced anglers will be left wanting more details, although even they will find useful items. The tips and tricks presented are short and often general. The material is somewhat dated, and the format is jumbled. There are numerous illustrations, mostly showing how to rig baits and lures. For the price, it is a good book and every angler will benefit, but beginners will benefit the most.
