5.0 out of 5 stars "50 songs, but I'm not complaining"
This CD is a confusing mix of punk bands, from pop-punk's Sum 41 & Good Charlotte to punk favorites Alkaline Trio, Vandetta Red, & The Casualties to bands that I've never even heard of such as Unsung Zeros, Ozma, & Destruction Made Simple. I reccomend this CD if you're looking for new bands to like & listen to. Although it's a confusing CD, it gives you...

3.0 out of 5 stars What the...
...Good Charlotte and Sum 41? Um...does anyone else think that the Warped Tour has really let its pit monkeys down this time around? At least we've got Alkaline Trio, Flogging Molly, The Lawrence Arms, and Swingin' Utters on here. But damn...you really shouldn't be representing the mohawk-sporters with bands like Good Charlotte and Sum 41 on your CD, there, Warped Tour.

5.0 out of 5 stars Neato! Swank! Spifferific! All these adjectives and more!, July 30, 2002
By
This review is from: 2002 Warped Tour Compilation (Audio CD)
They've outdone themselves this time with a 2-disc comp. Despite the several tracks that I just couldn't bring myself to listen to (such as Sum 41, Good Charlotte, and Glassjaw - but what punk comp DOESN'T have those kinds of tracks?), I really really love this CD. My personal 2 favorite songs are "Armageddon" by Alkaline Trio and "No One Needs to Know" by Ozma, but whatever floats your boat can probably be found. Pop punk, hardcore, emo, ska-ish stuff, and good ol' "oi!" music, it's all on this thing.
And there's also a good mix of the huge "Oh my god, it's them!" bands and the "I think I've heard of them..." newcomers. I got to find out more about smaller names such as the Eyeliners, Autopilot Off, and some such, and my life is all the more ecstatic for it.
I really really encourage buying this CD. Because 6 bucks is not a lot to pay for 50 bands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Warped Tour 2002 Compliation, October 17, 2002

This review is from: 2002 Warped Tour Compilation (Audio CD)
This compilation truly serves justice to the history of Warped Tour. It's a jam packed two-disc set, with 50 songs from some of the greatest punk bands of today and yesterday. I consider this album to be a feast of illustrious music that any Warped Tour fan will certainly enjoy.
The appetizer to this CD is a previously unreleased track by NOFX called "Three on Speed" followed by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "You Gotta Go!". The CD also serves up a bountiful collection of main courses featuring such bands as: Midtown ("Become What You Hate"), Good Charlotte ("East Coast Anthem"),and Slick Shoes' "My Ignorance". For Dessert we flip to the second disc, which features, Alkaline Trio's "Armageddon" and The Movielife's classic song "Hand Granade". To top it all off, why not sip the refreshing Irish melodies of Flogging Molly's "What's Left of the Flag".
This is a must have, and a great addition to any ones collection. So pick up your copy today.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST WARPED TOUR CD EVER! WHEN IT USE TO BE A PUNK FESTIVAL!, April 16, 2008
This review is from: 2002 Warped Tour Compilation (Audio CD)
This is awesome, today's warped tour cds and tours have all poser bands and screaming emo bands, thats not cool. This cd has new bands but at least none of them are posers! (Cute Is What We Aim For, My American Heart). When I first looked at this I as like wow I know Good Charlotte, Sum 41, No Use for A Name, Name Taken, and Alkaline Trio. I soon found new favorites (Madcap, Death on Wednesday, Murphy's Law, Too Rude) This is a such a good deal for less money you also get 2 cds with 50 bands its like your at the warped tour soon as you listen but no emo bands. The only band I hated was From Autumn to Ashes. They are just like the warped tour of today. Most of the punkers on these reviews agree with me.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Real Warped Tour Compilation, December 11, 2008
This review is from: 2002 Warped Tour Compilation (Audio CD)
This cd is amazing you have real punk (murphy's law, nofx, avoid one thing, lagwagon, swingin utters) pop punk (midtown, good charlotte, divit, antifreeze) ska-punk (mighty mighty bosstones, too rude) and other great unknown bands (mi6, death by wednesday, dag nasty, destruction made simple) Thre only exception is from autumn to ashes. THEY SUCK AND I BET A LOT OF THE PUNKERS INSULTED THEM WHEN THEY WERE ON STAGE DON"T THEY KNOW THAT WAS A NON EMO EVENT! You get 50 bands for less money it would of really cost. IF YOU ARE A FAN OF PUNK THEN FOR SURE ORDER IT. Very hard to find in stores. This will be the best punk cd out there right after the 2001 compilation I suggest that too NOT MY REAL NAME ITS UNDER MY MOM'S ACCOUNT!

This CD is an intresting mix of Big bands/legends(NOFX,Alkaline trio etc...) and some smaller noname but awesome bands(Destruction made simple,Avenged sevenfold, and Sloppy meat eaters). They also got it good on the metal count this year with The used, Throwdown (favorite),A7X,and from autumn to ashes. Overall buy this album (7 buck).

This review is from: 2002 Warped Tour Compilation (Audio CD)
Gave it to my friend for his birthday( took me a lot to give it up)... Amazing CD (exception for one song or two)! I'd like it even more if it had Bad Religion, Rancid etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm listening to it as i write this review, July 3, 2002

This cd is awsome. If you listen to the whole thing, which would take a while cause each cd is 74+ minutes, it is actually pretty good. It isn't as good though as the 2001 comp. That one totally rocks. This cd opens up on stage one, with NOFX performing "Three on Speed" and then breaks into the energetic Mighty Mighty Bosstones song "You Gotta Go!". Personally, I think this is an awsome cd, but I decided to give it a 4 because it has some new bands that are starting out on here, and while some are exceptionally good and I can't wait for their CDs to come out, the others sound like [junk]. Another thing, not all the bands on the warped tour are on here. Whatever happened to Bad Religion? There are probably 20-25 really good songs out of 50 on this cd. But hey, i suggest you buy it. I'm going to the warped tour this year and simply love hearing these bands before i go. Once again, i stongly recomend 2001 first. Then buy this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Punk at its Best, June 25, 2002
By
"sonickap" (Long Island, NY USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 2002 Warped Tour Compilation (Audio CD)
This CD is one of the best punk CDs you can possibly find. Not only is it [inexpensive], it also has 50 different amazing songs by 50 different great bands. Some of the bands you'll know if you're a big punk fan, but most you won't know, but they are definitely worthy of recognition. If you are a punk fan, this CD should definitely be in your collection.
