I bought this cd because there were several bands I liked and lots of others I had heard of on it, plus it was really cheap. I was not dissappointed by the bands I knew. Disc 1 has great songs by The Used, Thrice, Rufio, Yellowcard, Senses Fail, Story of the Year, Matchbook Romance, The Early November, and Taking Back Sunday. 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!!!!1, October 1, 2003
This review is from: 2003 Warped Tour (Audio CD)
This cd is awesome!! and for 6 bucks, it cant be beat. i bought this cd for the tracks by Less Than Jake, Glassjaw, MCS, Dropkick Murphys and Simple Plan. but after i listened to it i found out that those are not the best. my absolute favorite song on this album is Darkness Surrounding by Avenged Sevenfold. i also like Your Silence by Suicide Machines, Glass War by NOFX, Like the Angel by Rise Against, Media Control by The Briggs and These Are a Few of My Favorite Things by DBS. Overall this is an amazing cd with the exception of a few tracks (Cordalene, Tsunami Bomb). the Lagwagon track is hilarious, and so is Pop Punk Band by Avoid One Thing.the only thing i would change is the screaming...there's not enough of it. so stop reading my boring reveiw and go buy it already!!!.......GO!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, September 17, 2003

This review is from: 2003 Warped Tour (Audio CD)
Although there were some songs I didn't like(only like 12 out of 52,I'm not into screaming so much you can't hear the words) this cd was soo worth it.I bought this fro 6.99!That's a price that's just unbelievable for such an awesome cd,only dissapointing part was the missing artists(TSL,AAR,AFI,Finch)that played on Warped but weren't included.I was looking forward to some but I still think this cd is overly worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Compilation for those unable to attend, but no AFI?!?!, July 5, 2003
This review is from: 2003 Warped Tour (Audio CD)
From someone who attended to warped tour, this basically sums up the tour preatty well. The number of bands can be annoying for some who perfer the more streamlined bands of radio and MTV. But give the CD a listen or two, and all the bands, save The Used and Simple Plan, will really jump out at you. I particularly enjoyed The Unseen, Tsunami Bomb, Less Than Jake, Avenged Sevenfold, The Casualties, Rancid, and Andrew WK (I know, a main stage wimp, which I can't deny.) I was a little miffed that there was no AFI on the list. They practically WERE Warped Tour as far as I saw. By far the best performers in a thespianic way of speaking. Other than that strange little anomaly (they were on 2001 warped tour with A Winter's Tale, and I THINK 2002), the CD is great. Basically all the biggest names in modern punk-hardcore music (disregard Simple Plan and Used).

5.0 out of 5 stars Insane punk compilation, August 2, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: 2003 Warped Tour (Audio CD)
This is probablly the best Warped tour album yet. Most of the bands are true punk and are incredible. My favorites are Lagwagon,Authority zero, and Avenged sevenfold. This compilation host some of the best punk groups and their best songs. For $7 by it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Well..., July 30, 2003

I bought this cd because there were several bands I liked and lots of others I had heard of on it, plus it was really cheap. I was not dissappointed by the bands I knew. Disc 1 has great songs by The Used, Thrice, Rufio, Yellowcard, Senses Fail, Story of the Year, Matchbook Romance, The Early November, and Taking Back Sunday. The others on the first disc are good with the exception of a few (Tsunami Bomb, Kicked in the Head, S.T.U.N.). Disc 2 however, is the opposite. It has only a few tracks that really stood out to me, (Bouncing Souls, Rise Against, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Allister, Coheed and Cambria) but even they aren't great. Overall the set is well worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Definetly Worth Owning..., May 23, 2004
This review is from: 2003 Warped Tour (Audio CD)
...For the Taking Back Sunday closing track alone. This cd is easily worth buying. Spending 8 dollars for 52 songs and 150 minutes of music is worth doing almost no matter who the bands are.
songs I particulary like are:
The Used: Just A Little
Thrice: Under A killing Moon
Less Than Jake: ASAOK
Senses Fail: Bloody Romance
Matchbook Romance: City and Vine
Stairwell: Boxcar
Taking Back Sunday: Your Own Disaster*

*Easily Best Track on Both Albums

There are many more great songs on this disc and I haven't even named any from the other album, that's how great this whole package is.

So any way, pick it up, you'll enjoy about 75 percent of the music. Also, watch out for the new Taking Back Sunday Album out July 27th. If you don't think the new cd is gonna be as good as the first, download your own disaster. The song is 4:47 so that should help you find a good version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Warped Tour 2003 Compilation (Awesome), May 11, 2008
This review is from: 2003 Warped Tour (Audio CD)
This is the only Warped Tour Compilation I actually bought because my friend bought the 2007 Compilation and he said there are only 14 good songs that are true punk and ska.(Dumbass) I was looking at most of the 2000's compilations and I decided to buy the 2003 one and I also took sample listens for each song on iTunes. So many amazing bands for $6 and on two cds and 50 amazing bands I know and some I don't know STUN and Stairwell. (I liked there songs by the way) The bands I knew before were Less Than Jake, Suicide Machines, Early November, Swingin Udders, Simple Plan, Lagwagon, Authority Zero, Mest, Maxeen, The Used, Dropkick Murphys, NOFX, Face to Face, Glassjaw, and Slick Shoes. This is a great way to find good new bands and don't waste your money on any upcoming warped tour crappy 2 cd deal. I also recommend the 2002 compilation as well.
Without the warped tour cds what would we do for music. Probably be another MTV I am pop but I think were rock. (Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco) (I WANT TO BE A CHOLO) (GO MANIC HISPANIC!)

4.0 out of 5 stars I Should Have Been There, October 5, 2005
This review is from: 2003 Warped Tour (Audio CD)
I got this at a yard sale because I was interested in the genre of music. The genre of this album is really more than I expected, though. I was expecting a lot of punk songs that sounded the same. But what it really is is a lot of different genres mixed into one thing called alternative. There are all kinds of music on this. There are 52 songs by 52 different artists. There were a couple songs that weren't great and I don't think I would have enjoyed live, but there were a lot of songs that really catchy. There are a lot of small name bands on this various artists mix, but there are also some big names like Yellowcard and Story of the Year. Altogether, I thought this was a good CD and definitely worth my time. I also think that any punk, metal or just plain rock fan should posess it.
