Every new car sold should include a new Shop Manual for that car. Dealerships want many hundreds of dollars to special order Shop Manuals thus discouraging car owners from obtaining these necessary books on how to work on your own car. Not everyone wants to buy tools and work on their own car, those owners should include the book when they sell the car as used. I had to wait over five years to buy this 1300 page book at a reasonable price, it paid for itself on the first repair job I did. Now I am studying the next major work needed and have confidence that I can do it myself without paying the over paid union worker to do a repair job that I would do better. If the economy had not been ruined by lack of leadership perhaps I would feel and act differently, for now I must force my car to stay on the road rather than being able to buy a new automobile.
