This book is very helpful for understanding what the code requirements are for a building. However, this book will be outdated as IBC will be coming out with a new edition some time later this year so be for warned that your money might go to waste if you decide to purchase this book now

Not really sure how to review this, but it is necessary for those of us who want to stay compliant and up to date with building regulations. It isn't necessarily easy to read, but like I said, it is what it is. :)

This book provides me with all the information I need to do both residental and commercial building in the United States. Most states use most of the IBC with some amendments, which can be found on the state websites. Allows us to do business with ease.

If you require 2006 IBC in your work as I do, the soft cover is the best version for your brioef case. It is light weight and very easy to add tabs for reference in meetings with municipality officals and others to document your position.
