5.0 out of 5 stars No complaints here!, November 17, 2010
This review is from: 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door, Door Entry Guards
Okay, I admit it. I bought these, not so much because I'm worried about protecting the paint on the door sill, but because they look cool. Don't tell anyone, I added something to my Jeep for show. ;)

The price is a little high I think, but it's really not that bad. Even though they're made of plastic, they definitely have a heavy-duty feel to them. They are a perfect match to the JK door sills, and you don't have to worry about positioning them perfectly -- the shape makes them only fit in one exact spot on the sill. That's great for someone like me that would otherwise actually spend a LOT of time making sure that they are both perfectly even with each other.

They come with a little alcohol wipe that you can use to clean the sill before applying them. Wipe it down, peel off the paper on the tape side, and press it down on the sill. Done. Takes 20 seconds per side.

I think they look great. I always thought that area looked unfinished, but now it looks much better -- it looks like these guards were meant to be there from the beginning.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for the price, March 19, 2010
This review is from: 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door, Door Entry Guards
These look more expensive than they are. They were incredibly easy to install, maybe 5 to 10 minutes and they still look great a week later. Still stuck firmly.

This was too easy too install, and looked too good not to have been included from the factory. Great item and highly recommended. Great seller too through the Amazon website.

5.0 out of 5 stars Should have come stock, November 11, 2011

This review is from: 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door, Door Entry Guards
These door guards install easily with a provided alcohol wipe. (If dirty, you might want to do a bit more prep.) There are grooves on the Jeep that make it impossible to misplace. Intsall take 5-7 minutes

They do not hinder the closing of the door in any way, and they match so well that I am shocked they were not included as stock!

Compliments the rubber slush mats well.

This is a perfect add on for your Jeep.
It should have been original equipment from the get go. But no...extra cost.
Works well though.

5.0 out of 5 stars NEW JEEP OWNER, September 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door, Door Entry Guards
I recently bought a 2012 wrangler and have been accessorizing. This was an item I didn't really plan on buying, but after seeing it, I figured it was fairly cheap for something so practical. After applying the guards, I was more curious as to why this was something that didn't come standard on the vehicle. It seems so practical. But for how cheap of an addition it is, it helps both cosmetically and funcionality.

These door guards fit perfect and were easy to install. They prevented me from chipping the paint on the door sill when I got in and out of the jeep.

Probably the easiest to install mod. Cant get it wrong since it fits only one way. Been on for 2 months now and still sticking. Maybe should have come stock with the Wrangler from the factory but that would ruin all the fun in customizing every little detail of your Jeep.

5.0 out of 5 stars spot on match, February 14, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door, Door Entry Guards
I purchased these for a 2011 2 door jeep wrangler sport, they fit perfectly with little or no effort.
all you have to do is clean the area with a damp cloth, wipe down with the provided prep pad and just
line up the bolt dome cover. It's almost impossiable not to line them up correctly on the first try.
