I love the way the drugs are categorized !!!,
This review is from: 2007 Lippincott's Nursing Drug Guide (Turtleback)
The reason why I bought this book was because it was organized by the medications purposes, so all the cardiovascular medications were put together, CNS drugs, etc. ... Then within these categories subcategories (i.e. antihypertensive drugs, anticovulsant drugs, etc.) were grouped. Also, the generic names are in bright red and the brand names listed directly underneath in black. It just makes it so much easier and convenient for me to find the medications I am looking for! I just love using this drug book at work !

This is an excellent drug guide, I use it almost everyday for school. I have seen other drug guides and I think this one is the easiest to use, granted I do find some meds in the others that are not in this guide. I highly recommend it for student nurses.

This is a good, easy to use, reasonably sized drug reference book for nurses. I owned the Lippincott 2003 book and used it frequently, but more and more of the newer drugs were not listed. There are new drugs every year, but it's too expensive to buy a new book every year. But I bought this one. The 2007 edition is at a good price.

I purchased this book for a pharmacology class I took this semester. This book was extremely helpful to me when I needed to look up a specific drug. I also used it as a reference when writing a paper on a specific drug category. It is an excellent book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone needing a drug handbook. I also bought another drug handbook, not knowing which one to get and Im gonna hafta say that this one blew the other one outta the water! The other hand book was the Nursing Drug Handbook 2006, 26th edition. It was alot harder for me to use than Lippincotts book.
