"it purely reflects a lack of respect for the office of the President"
This is hysterical! I bow down before the regal office of the President and humbly pay my respects to the divinely inspired election that brought this incompetent to power! Having a ceremonial and unelected head of state (like the UK) doesn't seem such a bad thing - you can get all patriotic about the Queen, and give Tony Blair heck for all the things he gets wrong without someone saying you're showing a "lack of respect for the office of the Prime Minister'! Jan 20 2008, I can't wait..... Sebb

I'm not a huge fan of making the president look stupid, but this calendar is still funny. The quotes from GW are insane. And I like the countdown on each day

This is a wall calendar which counts down to the end of the Bush reign. Each month contains an interesting photo of Bush with a humorous quotation from the man himself. Open, it measures about 24"long by 12" wide and the bottom section has the blocks for days of the week. Each block includes the number of days left and many contain quotes which demonstrate the mangled language the man uses. A funny calendar, sure to please any one who is counting down the days till this insane reign is over! Buy it, laugh over it, and pray we never have another POTUS like him.

If my President can't speak better then me, it is a sad, sad state of affairs. He does make for good comedy, though. Maybe that is the line of work he should have gone into. Too bad he was serious when he said these very funny (moronic) things quoted in the calendar.

A Great Way To Count IT Down!,

Unless you have lost a loved one in Iraq, I am not sure you have the right to express a decenting opinion about "disrepectfulness" of the george bush countdown calendar....bush....who took this country into an ILLEGAL and IMMORAL war.....bush....who is responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent men, women and childen......bush....who is responsible for the deaths of SO many promsing American young men and women.....like that of my niece.....Hey, REMEMBER.....911 had NOTHING to do with Iraq. This calendar gives me something to celebrate on every first of the month. One more month closer to closing a TOTALLY humiliating and terrifying era of American history. It's about all I've had to celebrate. Let's all just pray that when the Democrats regain power in the White House, they can do the people of this world ALL justice. I am not hopeful.

Mr. Bush's own words ... do we laugh or cry?,

This review is from: 2008 George W. Bush Out of Office Countdown Wall Calendar (Calendar)
This and the 2007 calendar (which keeps me smiling and shaking my head in disbelief through the debacle of Bush-Cheney) do not disrespect the office of President, nor is it hateful. It publishes George W. Bush's EXACT words - his illogical, confusing syntax and malapropisms, invented words and mispronunciations. Won't it be wonderful to have a president who can speak to the nation and the world and not make us cringe with embarrassment? I am counting down...

I bought this as a gag gift for my boss at Christmas. It arrived in great time and shape and was a hit. I tried to get it from him, but he kept it!

This calander is super funny. It's full of quotes and funny pictures. Every day has the number of days left untill Jan. 20th 2009 written in red. It cracks me up every morning. I like it so much that I got one for my father, sister, boss and mother-in-law. They all love it too.
