Ever since I was a kid, I only wanted stuffed bears from Gund and had a bunch of the "snuffles" bears growing up. When I saw that Amazon was offering an exclusive Gund bear, I was pretty excited for myself! My kids have a giant net full of bears and animals so I plan on keeping this one for myself.

Amazon.com's 2nd Limited Edition Gund bear is a good-sized bear at around 16 inches long, flat. The fur is as cuddly, plush and soft as ever. He looks like he might be a cousin of Alfie the Bear. I normally do not like clothing or accessories on stuffed bears. I don't care for the tassels on the cap so I may remove it at some point. The eyes are plastic buttons so kids under 2 should be supervised. The tan color is just plain classic. By the way, the 1st Limited Edition bear was a polar bear. I like the 2nd Edition more because the arms and legs are free to move around whereas the polar bear had formed legs.

Washing Instructions from Gund:

- Surface Wash Only
- Do NOT immerse toy in water
- Remove all accessories from stuffed toy
- First test cleanser on small area of toy surface
- With a clean cloth and tepid water, lightly blot affected area using mild detergent or Teddy Bear Bath
- Repeat blotting using tepid water to rinse detergent from toy surface
- In the folds of a clean towel, squeeze stuffed toy several times to remove excess moisture
- Allow to air dry
- Once dry, stuffed toy surface may be fluffed and brushed
- Repeat as needed

I really wanted the white and blue 1st Amazon bear...but was too late to get one :( This one was offered as a promotional item, but is nice enough that it is even worth buying! He is very soft and squishy! Just what you want in a bear! I was worried that his hat would have the ears attached to it, but (nicely) the hat has little holes so his ears poke through. The hat is tacked on in 4 spots, but I am going to leave mine on. He is sturdy enough that he can sit upright without support. Plastic eyes, different color fur foot pads and mouth, and a velvety nose. I measured about 16 inches lying flat on the table (not pulling his legs taut.)He has the cutest little happy face. My kids were almost fighting over it! I might have to get another one!

We got 2 of these for free with a Big A special. I am not a Gund connoisseur by any means, but these bears are extra soft, appear well made, and are extremely cute. There were no visible defects. All was in good order. For a freebie, you cannot go wrong. Not sure I would spend $30 for one, but as a throw in special it was great. For the few customers who complained about the quality, just return them as the Big A has a fantastic return policy. Maybe they got "lemons"; It happens, but the Big A always stands by their products. I am sure the replacements would be like the ones I got....perfect. HO!HO!HO!

I got this as a free gift with Toys purchases, I really enjoy it, the bear is cute and the fur is really soft. The knit hat that the bear has on with the Amazon.com logo is cute as well. It's the first product I own from Gund and I look forward to getting more Amazon.com exclusive Gund toys!

Came as "free" gift...little did I know I would be paying shipping on it...silly me. The bear is a nice soft plush animal. The kids play with it every now and then.

I got this bear free with my Christmas order from Amazon and was really pleased with the high quality. We ended up giving it to my 1 year old. She cuddled it and wouldn't put it down even when we tried to get her to open her other presents. It is very soft, and is easily her favorite plush toy.

Four stars for this bear,

He's smaller than I expected him to be, although not a small bear by far.
Just as cute as shown online and with Gund build quality you know it'll last for years.

His eyes are a well sewn in so you don't have to worry about your kids biting one off and swallowing it.

I bought it for my grand nephew but kept this one and gave my nephew another. I love it love it. So cute so me.

This a cute bear but I would not have ordered it for my grandson if I had known it had amazon.com on it's hat. I thought I was going to receive it free with purchase.amazon bear

If this wasn't free with the purchase I made I would NEVER have bought it for 30 bucks. It could end up in a toy donation later in the year. I think it's a cute bear, but not worth 30 dollars.
