Well, the book itself is a price list of cars, trucks, etc. which is based on a point system. Thats all well and good, but if your only interested in a particular car its a one line reference book. For more intense pricing on a particular car there are better books to choose. However, a lot of work has been put into this price guide ( which is revised yearly) and for that it rates a good buy.

There's a lot that can be criticized in this massive tome, but it is the pricing standard for collector automobiles. This is what people refer to for pricing guidance and what you'll have to deal with you disagree on pricing.
Setting aside the weirdly inflated world of collector car prices, this book has several hundred thousand listings of cars starting in 1901. It's a treasure trove of information on classic cars. |
