4.0 out of 5 stars Non-Designer/Builder Review
I found the information in the IECC to be very informative. As a homeowner I can evaluate the U-factor, R-factor, SHGC and other parameters provided when making upgrades to my house. I was interested in this book because of the Stimulus Bill rebates on certain improvements and am not disappointed in what it has helped me to understand.

Of the 80 pages 17 are just a list of climate zones in the USA, 6 pages are an index, another 4 pages are blank, 4 pages of definitions, and 4 pages are of "references to other publications". Unless you need this book for school or a test steer clear. No real useful information and there are better resources out there.
