I haven't opened a pack of baseball cards in over a decade. After coming back to baseball fandom, I bought a couple packs of Topps 2009 cards and a pack of these Heritage cards. I gotta, say, Topps still makes great cards. The Heritage line has great retro styling on a non-glossy traditional card stock. The pics are classically styled and the backs are a different take than you might be used to on regular cards. They only feature the previous year's stats and a career stat line, making collecting consecutive years (and older cards) more enjoyable and informative, the cards also have a small paragraph of text about the player and their achievements.
My only issue is that the price per pack is a little higher than the regular line. But you also run the chance of getting unique insert cards, so I can't say the price is unjustified.
