Turn around time was great!
One for me and several others
as gifts to friends and family.
They loved them too!

I really got a good deal for this stylish Obama wall calendar considering that it was way way cheaper than its likes in other stores and was spanking new.I had purchased a similar kind a year or so ago and wanted the exact same type although a 2010 one. And surely I can attest to the fact that it didn't disappoint me; I stand by it, I guarantee. Thanks Amazon for such a wonderful shopping experience!

I bought three of these calendars. One for a Christmas gift for my Mom, another for a Christmas gift for my cousin and her family, and one for myself. We are all Obama supporters, so it was a nice thing to have. Everyone loved their gift.

This is an excellent wall calendar with very inspiring words to help make your day. I love it!

I have been very pleased with my product. I also was very pleased with Amazon's quick response with the handling my request. I definately will use Amazon again.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this calendar given the price. I bought a couple of extra calendars and gave away as gifts.

The campaign is over and it's time to get on with reality, so I found this calendar a little off-putting, especially with all the shots of "looking up at Obama" and the contrivance of the "halo-effect" we've seen with the circular seal of the president or a light manipulated to be placed behind his head. If you are a die-hard O fan, or know someone who is, this is the gift for you/them (although the year is moving fast, as is the public opinion), but otherwise I found that the Obama-messiah merchandising blitz has gotten a little tired and transparent at this point, and looking at it was somewhat uncomfortable, considering that the fairy dust is fading and we're needing to look at him as a human being and not as something on the level of Jesus Comes Down From the Hill anymore.

Though several of the shots are from the "looking up at Obama" perspective which can get little tired, the overall calendar presentation is quite nice. THe photos used do a decent job of commemorating the early day of Obama's presidency. The build quality is that of the average calendar, so no worries there. All in all, well worth the going price of $1.54.

Because Amazon only shows the front and back covers, we couldn't decide between this calendar and the Barack Obama: 2010 Wall Calendar, so we bought both to do a side-by-side comparison and decide which one to bulk order for friends & family members. Although this one has 4 pictures of the First Lady (she's on 'January'), and the other calendar only has 3 (we don't even see her until 'July'!) we choose the other calendar because;

(1) the paper is twice as thick,

(2) the dates are printed in large, bold, black numerals,

(3) the names of the months are printed in large, bold, navy letters on a white background, (in this calendar the months are printed in giant white letters on a starry red background),

(4) the inside back cover of the other calendar has 3 full years - 2009, 2010, 2011, while this one only has Sept-Dec, 2009, and

(5) in the Barack Obama: 2010 Wall Calendar the photos above the months are full-sized while in this calendar the bottom 1/3rd-1/4th of each photo is covered with a block quote. However, this calendar's cover photo is the clear winner between the two. But who sees the COVER photo? It really should have been placed inside above a month! There's also a beautiful pic of the First Family ON THE INSIDE BACK COVER of this calendar which no one will see, either!?

Common to both calendars;

(1) holidays are listed as well as milestones in the Obama campaign, (in addition, this calendar's highlights are color-coded - holidays are printed in black, famous quotes in blue and political/social items of interest are printed in red, unfortunately, the lettering is tiny and light and barely readable even up close),

(2) both have gorgeous, sharp color photos, and

(3) they're both large measuring precisely 12" x 12" when closed.

NOTE TO CALENDAR DESIGNERS; We need more pics of Mrs. Obama/the family! And please put the so-so photos on the pages no one will see. Duh.
