"Good book, with a good story line. The author was well informed on the topic and painted a strong story. I enjoyed reading it. Wasn't a '5 star' book but was glad that I finally got to read this one."
"A fictional story about Hollywood insiders during Oscar week. It is written as though it could be non-fiction and is thus a fully believeable story. At times the story was funny, sad, and ironic. Authors have keen insight on famous people and designers and this helps them to weave these famous names into the storyline without screwing up the story itself."
"Great book. Main character Kat is a bit cynical but the book is written like she is telling you, the reader exactly what she thinks and how she feels about her weight problem as well as how she thinks the world looks at overweight people. I would imagine that many people will be able to easily relate to this book."
"After finishing this I grew very fond of the story. Written all in letters and faxes that the main character Oliva is writing and it tells the story of her life. I think that Oliva truly is better at expressing herself thru written words."
"Another Jodi Picoult story about the tough stuff. Amazing book, not a chic lit romance but an incredibly told journey about Chris and Emily, and how they deal with depression and teen suicide. If you like Barbara Delinsky you will enjoy Jodi Picoult books."
"Wow, this book exudes raw emotions and will pull on the heartstrings of all who read it. Barbara Delinsky is very talented at creating complex characters w/ deep feelings & pulling the reader in. This is a story of human relationships and interactions, how we perceive things isn't always how others perceive it. There will be at least 1 character in this book that you will be able to relate to."
"Loved it! I put a hold on this book at the library when it came out and I finally got my call in early March 2010. I have other books by this author in my 'to read' pile and plan to enjoy each of them as well. Overall, an interesting storyline that pulls the reader in and takes you along for the ride."
"Good, quick read. Perfect book to toss in you purse/tote and read while waiting in line or relaxing at the beach. This is a fun book with a little bit of intruigue. I came across this one at the thrift store and enjoyed it. Posted a review on this book."
"A light and fun romantic adventure. I was quickly drawn into the storyline right from the beginning. There were numerous fun but crazy situations that both the hunky Detective Mike Corwin and Amber find themselves in the middle of. When I read I try to make sure to read every word so that the whole scene is painted in my mind. This book didn't take me long to read and left me with a smirk."
"1st book of 3. Recommend reading these in order. I was hooked by the first chapter. Meg Cabot is a great author who can pull the reader right into the story. If you are a fan of chic lit these are great books to read. I am a fan of the fun, easy reading page turners that leave me with a good feeling at the end and the 'Queen of Babble' books do that."
