I purchased this CD to play in my car while taking my kids to and from school because there's someting for everyone on a single disk. I don't have to pop in one CD for the teenager, another for the tween, another for the toddler, and yet another for me--one stop shopping for mom and kids. If you're just an average, normal person like me and my kids then you'll probably like this CD. It represents what most of us were listening to in 2009, and I make it a point to purchase each year's Grammy CD for just that reason.
Of course, if you're one of those music purists who believe that all mainstream music is crap, then you shouldn't buy this CD. It's not the greatest music written and recorded, but it's fun and easy to listen to.

Something For Everyone....me, my 15 & 23yr old kids & even my 68yr old father!

There is something on this CD that everyone will like. I love most of the songs, my 15yr old son has his favorites, my 23yr old daughter tried to walk out of the house with it and when I had it playing in my car, my 68yr old father was bouncing his head around to the beat....something I've never seen him do!
