This calendar is, in a word, awful. If you walked up to a random person on the street and asked them to write something on 365 pieces of paper and tape them together, it would be far more useful than this calendar could ever be. It is full of the most trite, cliche advice written in the most idiotic way possible. The only reason you have to buy this calendar is if you have too much faith in humanity, and need to lose some. A lot.
Alright, now that the rant is out of the way, this review can begin. If you are viewing this, you are probably a parent looking to buy your kid something before they go to college. Do not buy them this. I guarantee that every person going to college in America has heard every single piece of advice in this calendar hundreds of times, and every time it was phrased better than in this calendar. Many pages are even repeated, word for word, on different days for the calendar. This includes the pages where the creator of this calendar is merely shilling his equally awful book. In conclusion, only buy this for people you hate. The end. |
