I PREFER THIS PUBLICATION OVER THE BLUEBOOK .MORE ACCURATE PRICING AND THE PHOTOS ARE A PLUS

For an otherwise helpful publication, in some area eg, Smith & Wesson, there is a lack of separation between generations of models ie, SW Model 29. 5 Screw, 4 Screw, 29, 29-1etc... The difference between a first year revolver and a used current revolver is several thousand dollars. It would have been very helpful to an investor to have an accurate guide in determining the correct model as well as current value. I hope this comment is taken as positive criticism because there is also much useful info in this publication.

I have the last ten years. If you can have only one gun refrence book, this is it. The blue book is second best.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of entries detailing who made what when. He has an old pistol our son-in-law gave him that until now went unidentified. So you can find even the rare items here. We still can't find my great-grandfather's rare double hammer, double damascus barreled shot gun from the mid 1800s. Ahh, maybe someday.

The best book of it's kind I have seen. Can save a buyer of guns money by avoiding paying too much for a certain model. Good reference book to have around.

In contrast to many other publications that do not provide each item picture, Firearms pictures give one a common sense visual to assist in confirming each item. This issue has the clearest pictures yet that I have seen in their publications. In addition the publication contains a wealth of information that no collector or sportsman should be without.

IT FUN TO CHECK PRICES OF SOME GUNS THAT YOU HAVE HAD AND SEEN IF THEY WERE GOOD INVESTMENTS, ALSO TO LEARN MORE ABOUT SOME GUNS. WINCHESTERS HAVE BEEN BETTER SINCE THE CLOSED SHOP. YOU CAN SPOT MISTAKES IN MOVIE, WHERE THEY USED THE WRONG GUNS. IN GENERAL IT'S A FUN BOOK, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FIREARMS.

New to gun collecting, this book has full descriptions and pictures to help my decision making. Would recommend this book to anyone who wants to do the research before buying.

These were Christmas gifts...the guys LOVED Them. Me, well not so much, but they weren't for me. Thanks.

This was a Christmas present for my husband. He loved it. He says it is the best book on the market for current gun prices.
